Efforts of DMCTTC in values alignment.

Developing shared values has always been an effort for DMCTTC for the DMCI Group of Companies. Values is one’s beliefs and principle that s/he follows. And sometimes, it is one’s standard for judgment. As we live in one country, we filipino have shared values and culture, so as in every organization. Talking about personal values may be crucial for young adults as it has been already formed and developed differently for each one of us which most of the time our differences is one of the major hindrance for a happy and satisfying working life.

DMCTTC ensures correspondence between personal and organizational values to achieve the same goal, that is, to grow and develop successfully through Developing a Values-Oriented Workplace seminar.

Being STO is here at last!

A step at a time leads to something bigger than what has been started. So the story goes for the training institution of the DMC Group of Companies, the D.M. Consunji Technical Training Center, as it inches its way to becoming an accredited Safety Training Organization (STO) with the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE).

This is one of its most coveted dreams: to be an internationally recognized and acknowledged training provider of safety training programs. In doing so, it would be at its best in catering to the safety training needs of the other DMCI groups, and the construction and allied industries in general. Becoming at par with other safety organizations, it will then be a provider of such programs like the Basic Occupational Safety and Health (BOSH) and Loss Control Management (LCM), to name a few. One of the things that DMCTTC is passionate about is the growth and development of the workers of the DMCI Group of Companies. When we talk about development, it’s not just about equipping one with the right set of knowledge and skills. Over and above these, it’s about creating the foundation that makes all these happen. And that’s RIGHT ATTITUDE.

It is for this reason that the WAVE has been created for the direct labor employees of the company. It stands for Work Attitude and Values Enhancement, a course that is designed to align the employee to the corporate values and towards a meaningful worklife. Workers are guided in deepening Continue Reading »

QWS in Facebook

Anyone heard of QWS? I bet some of you have. It stands for Quality of Worklife Seminar, the flagship values enhancement program of the D.M. Consunji Technical Training Center (DMCTTC). As far as QWS is concerned, the bonding of the group members which this program fosters is not anymore confined to the four walls of the conference hall or venue area. It’s also in the WEB.

And, talking about the WWW, there’s no other place popular in the social networking sphere than Facebook. While in FB (shortened form for Facebook), all one has to do is to look for “Friends of QWS” under Groups. Continue Reading »
